Takeaways after implementing the first Shopify Store
- What was the biggest challenge you faced in creating your store?
Understanding the layout a bit, where the content and theme options are. Payments were also hidden within settings which was confusing.
- What worked really well when using our platform?
Loved the interface of adding content to the theme so easy. Once I had the idea it was easy to fill in the theme with the associated parts.
- What could be improved when using our platform?
I think not being able to link to a non existing product. A product has to be created first? Can this be done on the fly when setting up the theme. Its backwards but its the way I intuitively started the shop build. Theme then products. It's probably a rare case.
- How did this experience help you build empathy for our merchants?
Good I can see where things might pop up for merchant asking seeming easy question which are not so easy if they don't do this sort of thing everyday. Most is intuitive and there is a lot of content knowledge base articles that support seamless shop setup for the everyday user.
- What is your biggest takeaway from this experience?
Simplicity is really shown by our implementation of the platform.
